Estate Agents in Cheadle Hulme and surrounding areas.

Having moved our offices to Cheadle Hulme 12 months ago. We are of helping more people in our new locality and the surrounding areas.

I know most of us rely on the likes of Rightmove, but I also know some of the agents do not list everything on the property portals so it can sometimes help to check on the estate agents websites directly. Below is a list of agents and the areas they cover. If you are actively looking to move home, it is worth speaking to the agents.

Estate agents in Cheadle Hulme

We obviously have to start the agents in our local area.

Snapes Estate agents – This is the agent who were dealing with the sale of the property I bought when I moved around here. I can not fault them, they kept us informed and helped to keep the sale on track when there were some issues quite late on. In addition to that, they gave us a brolly and some vouchers when we went to pick up the keys. Huge fans of Snapes. An independent estate agent who have been around the area for decades.

Main & Main – Another long standing local estate agents. They have a good reputation and in the experiences we have had with them are usually on the ball with keeping things moving.

Snowden Wilkinson – Opened in 2005, they are a third long standing local estate agents. At the time of writing we have not had too many dealings with Snowden Wilkinson but they have a good reputation and have been around a while so can only assume they are another good local agents.

Bridgfords – Bridgfords are part of Countrywide, one of the largest estate agents in the country.

Estate Agents in Bramhall

Snapes – As above, they also have a Bramhall branch.

Mosley Jarman – Mosley Jarman are a local agents, originally started in Wilmslow and now expanded to Bramhall. We have dealt with Mosley Jarman a couple of times and they have always been lovely and professional.

Leighton Snow – These are the new boys on the block having started up in 2018. They appear to have made a good start and we regularly see their boards up in and around Bramhall.

Gascoinge Halman – Have a number of branches in South Manchester and the surrounding areas. If you are looking in Bramhall and surrounding areas, they may be able to put you on a mailing list to cover a wider area of properties coming up.

Estate agents in Cheadle

Andrew J Dawson – Andrew J Dawson have been around for as long as I can remember, a good 20 years plus. They must be doing something right.

Maurice Kilbride – Maurice Kilbride have been around for a long time. Maurice grew up in Stockport and knows the area well. He is also very active on a Twitter and unfortunately is a big Manchester City fan 🙂 Despite that they have a good reputation.

Estate Agents in Wilmslow

Mosely Jarman – As mentioned above under Bramhall

Reeds Rains – I think Reeds Rains are a franchise, so like a national estate agents but run locally by the franchise owner.

Savills – Savills are a national estate agents, They typically specialise in higher value

Gascoigne Halman – As mentioned under Bramhall.

Jordan Fishwick – Jordan Fishwick are another network of estate agents. They have a number of branches around South Manchester and the surrounding areas. Again, if you are looking in a number of areas, it may be worth registering with them as they can probably cover a wider area.

Summary

All of the areas above are popular places. There is a lot of demand which means we are lucky enough to have a lot of choice. It means we have national estate agents, regional estate agents and single branch estate agents. All have their own pros and cons but generally as there is a lot of competition it helps to keep standards high.
