Mortgages & Defaults or CCJs

Can I get a Mortgage if I have had a Default or CCJ?

This is a question we get asked a lot. As you can see on our Mortgage Success stories page, defaults in themselves can be overcome. Whether they are satisfied, partially satisfied or still outstanding.

There are a number of lenders who would look to accept defaults and CCJs. Some do it as standard providing it was frst registered a set time ago, others if it is under a certain amount and others will look to accept them regardless of value or age and will be taken in to account with the rest of the application.

So to answer the question, yes it is possible to get a Mortgage with defaults and CCJs but it will come down to the detail.

The best thing to do is to get in touch so we can find out a little more about the default or CCJ and what you are hoping to achieve. We can then look to give you an idea fo whether we can help and an idea of what rates and fees would be applicable. There is the potential for high street rates in the right circumstances.
